Production Blog: Commericial
Today, I worked to complete my commercial. I Went on CapCut and clicked on my commercial to begin working. I renamed my project on the app to "commercial," so I don't confuse it with the ones I messed up. I made another collage of me as an adolescent; this included six pictures of me. My following collage had four pictures of me from last year with a friend at the fair. After these pictures, I added a video of that friend on a ride at the fair, then created another collage of me and two friends, including four images. I wanted to add a video from the last time we hung out, but my friend had the video. I sent her a message asking her to send it to me, but after about an hour, I never got a reply, so I asked another friend. She sent me many options, so I picked two videos and a picture from what she sent me. After a while, the first friend I asked replied to my message. I finished cropping and adjusting the photos to create a collage; then, I added the video of the three of us together. I then made another collage of four pictures of me. I couldn't find any videos I liked, so I used a video of me and my cousin at a graduation party. The second collage I created of me as an adolescent had a black spot, so I had to look for a picture to fill in that blank spot.
I took a picture of the physical photo, cropped it, then added it to the collage. I began trying to fit a song into my commercial. I have nine options, so I put them all on a playlist so they are easier to access. I wanted to make an mp3 to add the audio, but there was no option. I exported the video I made to my phone and then emailed it to myself to access it on my computer. I downloaded the video and then put it in this random video editor called veed.io.to pick the song, played the music through my phone, and acted my commercial on my computer to see which fit best. The final thing I did was create an intro and ending, then add the music.
