Reflection

I  learned how to use different editing Software . I used cap cut for my project, and it got easier to use by the time I finished my commercial. In the beginning, I made many mistakes . These mistakes caused me to restart many times. By the 2nd day of working on the commercial, it went smoother since I started to understand better. Many editing software you can download on your phone have a similar setup. I tried using this other app but was unsuccessful, so I didn’t think it was worth mentioning. I also learned how to import music to add it to a video.   While putting my project together, I learned that patience is essential. I initially messed up, so I had to redo it many times. I also knew that getting upset or frustrated doesn’t do anything but waste time. I also learned that taking my time would increase the quality of my work. Trying to rush work to get it done makes the results look sloppy. If you feel forced to do something, the work is less enjoyable. I worked on it in

Today, I worked to complete my commercial. I Went on CapCut and clicked on my commercial to begin working. I renamed my project on the app to "commercial," so I don't confuse it with the ones I messed up. I made another collage of me as an adolescent; this included six pictures of me. My following collage had four pictures of me from last year with a friend at the fair. After these pictures, I added a video of that friend on a ride at the fair, then created another collage of me and two friends, including four images. I wanted to add a video from the last time we hung out, but my friend had the video. I sent her a message asking her to send it to me, but after about an hour, I never got a reply, so I asked another friend. She sent me many options, so I picked two videos and a picture from what she sent me. After a while, the first friend I asked replied to my message. I finished cropping and adjusting the photos to create a collage; then, I added the video of the three o

Today, I began working on making my commercial. I have media studies in the morning, and I decided to get to know CapCut better while I had a little free time. I look at the different features in the app, such as AI background, removed background, captions, etc. I then created a new project. I clicked on the photos I planned to use in the first part and made a collage. The first collage included five snapshots of me when I was about a year old. I tried adding more pictures to create another collage, but I didn't receive the option to. I added the images anyway to see if I could find one. I ended up ruining the collage when I tried to add different photos. So, I deleted the other pictures and tried adding them again. I ended up redoing this many times, but after a while, I figured it out. What I did was overlay the new images and make the collage myself. I redid it once again, but this time, I was more aware of what I was doing. I changed two photos and had six images in the collage

I'm almost ready to begin working on my commercial. I'll start putting it together soon. Today, I took pictures of the printed photos so I can access them through my phone. Because of the glare, I had to switch locations of where I was taking the pictures. At first, I tried taking it on the kitchen counter since it was flat and had good lighting, but there was a glare. I tried blocking the light to avoid a glare, but it made the picture darker. I even tried moving my camera around, but It caused a noticeable shadow. I took the photos on the coffee table, but since the lighting wasn't as good as the kitchen, I had to use a ring light so my photos didn't come out dark. Once I took the pictures, I had to edit and crop them so my background wasn't showing. After I finished, I put all the photos I took on an album. I also decided to include things I like in the commercial so it's not only pictures of me.  I downloaded cap cut to make and edit the commercial. I have s

I looked through my photo albums to produce my commercial and picked out my pictures. My brother was kind enough to help me look through the images. Since there were so many pictures, we took about 30-40 mins to review them. We picked out about 32 pictures. Most of the photos I picked I found were of me of a baby/toddler. I plan on narrowing down the amount of photos I have. I also reviewed my phone and mom's phones to find more recent pictures and videos. This took a while since she had so many photos and videos. I sent myself the videos and pictures I found on my mom's phone. After I picked the photos, I started looking for a song. My playlist is about 9 hours long, so reviewing it took me a while. I have 180 pieces on my playlist, but I skipped a portion because I know what I want. I picked out nine songs for me to choose from. The songs I picked out were Clouds by Jeremiah Paltan, taxi by IMRSQD, moon by Jeremiah Paltan, Find My Way By Aurae, Take My Heart by Aurae, W

For my commercial, I want it to show me throughout the years of my life. I want it to start with me as a baby and myself throughout the years. I have many pictures to choose from among my family members, including myself. My mom loved taking pictures when I was a kid, so I plan on asking her for photos. I'm also going to look through my family's picture albums to look for baby pictures. I plan to use three to five pictures of me as a baby/ toddler and include a video if I find one. I will have pictures of me with family and friends when I was younger, around 3-5, and a short video if I find one. I plan on contacting my family outside my immediate family for pictures or videos they may have of me. I'm doing this so I can have more options. I will need recent pictures and videos of me to include in this commercial. I also want to include pictures of things I'm interested in, like cooking, shoes, art, and more. I'm still determining what I want to add to the

Hi there! My name is Kaydiane Coleau, and in this blog, I will tell you a little about myself. I was born on February 7, 2007, in Florida, which makes me 16 years old. Currently, I'm a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School. I'm taking 3 AICE classes this year - Media Studies, English Language, and Thinking Skills - and I'm excited to complete these classes to receive my AICE Diploma.      One of my favorite things to do is cooking. I've loved cooking since I was a kid, and I always helped my mom in the kitchen. She mainly, which is also my favorite kind of music. Haitian food is something I want to learn to make, but it can be complicated. I also enjoy rap, R&B, and gospel music, but I like listening to any genre. Spending time with my friends and family is another thing that I love to do. It's a great way to relax, smile, and have fun, especially after a stressful week.       To relieve stress, I like to pray and read the Bible. The Bible has many encoura
