Production Blog: Filming Part 3

 After the gift opening scene the doorbell ring and the next scene is the friends looking at the camera. I had a perfume box that was decorated, so we put the note in there to put it outside.  Earlier before we stared filming i put the box outside and someone moved it.  I went outside to look for the box and I couldn’t find it. I asked everybody if they moved it and where did they put it. Since nobody couldn’t tell me where the box was I had to check the camera. I’m glad the camera recorded who did it. I had to scroll about an hour back to see Felisha moved it into the bushes so it wouldn’t be seen in the first scene. Once we had the box in place everyone gathered around the google Home Screen and said their lines. Nobody practiced their lines except for Christel so there was a little improvising to save time. Production Blog: Music video

 After we finished filming the outdoor scenes, we filmed the indoor 0scenes. The majority of these scenes involved only the main character. The first indoor scene was scene four. Scene four was the main character opening the room door and putting the picture in the mirror. For this scene, we used a tracking shot to show her coming in and placing the image on the mirror. This concluded what was supposed to be the first 24 seconds of the song. After this, we filmed scene ten. Scene ten was the main character laying on the bed and then getting up to look out the window. for this scene, we needed it to be dark but not too dark to the point the camera quality changes, or she can't be seen. We used a ring light to add enough light so the scene wouldn't come out too dark, and we closed the blinds so it wouldn't be too bright. I had to adjust the brightness of the ring light since it was too bright in her eyes. We recorded this scene about five times because we wanted it to be with...

Movie research: level 16

Convections in this movie: low lighting low angles jump cut high angle diegetic sound ambient sound dialogue Convection I liked:  I like the low lighting because it sets the scenes and adds a dramatic effect. I also like the diegetic sound of the screaming in horror from the actors in the movie. Another  thing I like is the dialogue because it gives u a sense of how isolated these girls were because the would call everyday objects we are familiar with something different. Convections I didn't like: Something I don't like is the ambient sound it’s constantly playing and it’s very eerie and makes me believe something unexpected will happen. I also don’t like how the phrase a clean girl is constantly repeated in the scenes throughout. I didn’t like some of the acting because it was kind of unbelievable.
